Having grown up as West Texas kids, who often traveled to New Mexico, we can't get the landscape out of our systems and y'all know how I feel about Santa Fe!

Well, I've already set my DVR for this! On the first day of a new year, it always feels like all dreams are possible, right?Happy New Year, Everyone!

Hello, all! I'm writing an early morning post, because I've been up most of the night. The kid decided he didn't need much sleep, so neither did we; apparently. Ha!So by pure coincidence, I'm thinking about headboards today;-) I do love this charming idea from Marie Claire Maison. Its quite simple, but sooo inspiring! In fact, I love everything. From the shelf above the window, with those amazing bags to white the pillowcases with cool red lettering.
P.S. I've been taking many, many photos lately and will be sharing them later this week. See you then.

I'm considering having myself put into a deep meditative state to overcome my creative funk.Just let go of all cares and maybe my brain will do a hard reset. Aahhhh.
Don't know if it will work, but its worth a try, no?
I found two amazing bedrooms that would be just right for this process. I think they are perfect for weekend unwinding.

I say this jokingly of course. This article is about Carolina Herrera Jr...pas moi. This apartment is so wonderful with all of its beautiful color and pattern.
Funny enough, I think my favorite part is the found blackboard,
Carolina uses to collect photos and notes.

Those of you who read regularly, know I'm not big on too many patterns, but I am fascinated with this bedroom!
What don't I like about this article? Now I feel like the frumpiest Carolina around:(

As usual, every time I have several days off; I wind up wishing for more time off. Anyone else feel like that? It just seems harder to get back into the swing of things. So, today instead of thinking of work; I'm thinking of the Hotel Palacio de los Patos, in Granada Spain. (I know its a mouth-full). I've always dreamed of traveling to Spain, and this hotel would be a place I would go. Its very beautiful and wonderfully eclectic:)
