Presenting the most awesome wall I've seen in a while! When I ran across it, I had to do a double take. Fantastic!! Personally, I sort of feel that the montage wall has been done to death on the internet, but this collection jumps off the screen.
Actually, these photos are from an Etsy site called, That Funky Boutique. They hand-make these cool ruffle pillows. I especially love the grey and black ones. Their texture is amazing! So, while looking at the beautiful background wall, stop to check out the awesome pillows too:)

These were found via a new shop I love called 14 Feet.

I couldn't resist one more image from Yatzer. An Italian winery in Germany uses an extreme optical illusion to expand the space. Although, the mirror effect is pretty extreme, I think it could be used on a smaller scale; to expand any small space.Interior Design

Now I keep noticing patterned tile wall treatments, after seeing the kitchen blacksplash in "My Dream Home". I think the look is so exciting! I guess you could call me a design nerd. Oh well, what can I say. The top picture is from a blog I just found called Decor Fellow. It is a restaurant in Santa Barbara designed by Michael S. Smith.
The second picture is not actually tile, but a wallpaper. This is a great idea for a quick change or a less expensive option. Now, I don't know how long it would hold up as a backsplash. I would consider looking for a nice pattern in a commercial grade paper. They are a little better suited for a kitchen. I found this on Ninainvorm's flickr site.

I have slyly alluded to my distrust of wallpaper. I know its the hottest thing out there, I just don't like the "permanence" of it. I have used wallpaper on some of my projects, but I usually keep it to a minimum. So, you can imagine my delight to find the work of J. Prichard Design. Jennifer Prichard crafts these beautiful porcelain pieces that are made into spectacular wall displays.

The organic shapes can be attached to a wall piece by piece (believe it or not), or can be attached to a tile and then installed on the wall. I am blown away by the dreamy quality these pieces have, and how wonderful they look. So to all the wallpaper lovers out there, I hope this can be a great compromise.
