"The Pavilion is floating aluminium, drifting freely between the trees like smoke. The reflective canopy undulates across the site, expanding the park and sky. Its appearance changes according to the weather, allowing it to melt into the surroundings.

It works as a field of activity with no walls, allowing uninterrupted view across the park and encouraging access from all sides. It is a sheltered extension of the park where people can read, relax and enjoy lovely summer days..."

In Chicago long-awaited opening has taken place.

In Millennium Park in the definitive kind before public pavilion Zaha Hadid Architects has appeared. The project is devoted the 100 anniversary from the date of birth Daniel Burnham.

The pavilion represents freakish aluminum structure where each element "works" on creation of the uniform roundish form.

On a metal skeleton the internal and external skin which serves, including, by the screen for video-installations which will show in pavilion is tense.

The general problem of the project (in park two pavilions have been constructed, Zaha Hadid Architects and UNStudio — to make research on a theme of cities of the future.

One more theme — ecological compatibility of architecture.

The pavilion can be disassembled and used in the collected kind repeatedly in any place.
