House Design Plan

1. At 1349 square feet the home is on the small side, but it feels large. Take a look at the interior images and video and I think you will agree. We opened up the floor plan and looked carefully at circulation patterns and furniture arrangements to make the spaces highly functional. Windows filter the public spaces with natural light from every direction.
2. It is a small house plan with plenty of storage. Because of it's size we made sure we packed it with storage possibilities in creative ways. A custom buffet cabinet floats between the living and dining areas. A continuous window seat with storage below is placed alongside the entry path. Media cabinets flank the fireplace.
3. The house is “comfortable”. Both inside and out, it evokes a casual kind of elegance that makes you feel at home.
4. The floor plan is adaptable. We have designed the home to be expandable with a main floor master bedroom. Or on a walkout or lookout lot, kids bedrooms could be placed on the lower level and the second floor converted into an amazing Master Suite.
5. The exterior is adaptable. We like the clean lines and uncluttered look of it's Scandinavian influenced exterior. But the design can easily be adapted to a more traditional or rustic aesthetic without altering the massing in any way.”

House Design PlanI recently ran into a photo of a simple bathroom design that I wanted to share with you.  It's a really skinny, small, simple, unique and fantastic powder room within a 1910 Georgian Mansion in San Francisco.  Check it out below.

This powder room is a contrast of the very modern and the very ornate.  It starts off as a very spare space with almost awkward proportions.  Add to that the modern wood vanity, vessel sink and faucet.  This is contrasted by the "crazy" - but well designed tile pattern, reinforced by the stained glass window and the ornate mirror.

Detail view of the tile pattern.  I cannot imagine the man-hours that went into this.   But you have to admit it's very cool.

1. Keep it simple but pay attention to the details.
2. A contrast of styles can be very dramatic.

In Singapore is constructed the first bridge in the form of a double spiral through Marina Bay.

Intellectual Illumination for Innovative Bridge

Inspired by spiral structure of DNA the bridge lasts on 280 metres over a bay and includes system of intellectual illumination (for mood creation). Solemn opening of the bridge has coincided with date of opening of the first art park in Singapore, located nearby to Youth Olympic Park.

Designers of Australian firm Cox Group, Arup engineers and Singapore company Architects 61 were engaged in building and designing this unusual bridge.

The bridge is made of the big and small steel spirals, they as if twist each other. All structure weighs 1700 tons that is equivalent to 1130 cars. Special LED illumination can be used for creation of special mood.interior decoratinghouse construction

For unusual place Ordos, the unique architectural project in the Inner Mongolia, one of regions of China, Peking studio Sunlay Design has created the church project, which profile which is looked through from height of the bird's flight, reminds wings of a flying bird.

The integrated pool & light effects

The building will be made of concrete, with the integrated pool on one of terraces. Apertures in front walls will create interesting light effects in an interior.

The image of a building has been inspired by the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar Astronomical Observatory constructed in Delhi in 1724.

Universe House

Gabriel Orozco tells, that for the first time has seen an observatory in 1996. After a while there was a desire to embody impression in an architectural image — so there was a creative union with Tatiana Bilbao.

For the most successful club in the Chinese super league, Dalian Shide FC, the stadium will construct UNStudio. The project a total area 38,500 м2 has won the closed competition.

Working over the project, architects have tried to catch the most thin features of an aesthetics of the Chinese football.

“Our design is a point of departure for the spectators who have come here for reception of emotional experience”, — has told Ben van Berkel.

Unique design of stadium

The structure represents two layers of the details organized on a circle of tribunes. Apertures between elements open a kind on an external landscape.
The stadium is calculated approximately on 40,000 spectators + space for TV-translations, administrations, VIP-PERSONS, players. Also it is provided two training fields.

Though the main task of a sports construction — to correspond to requirements of sportsmen, interests of spectators also have not been forgotten. On-opinion architects, they will take pleasure in contact with result of structural, contextual, infrastructural and stylistic integration.

Tribunes are organized so that to provide the best visibility, and also to allow spectators to go through sensation of an involvement into game. German design the studio under the direction of Werner Aisslinger has finished the project of the hotel providing "house" stay to all lodgers. The new guest house is opened in Berlin.

Michelberger Hotel it is located in the former building of mill Featuring. As well as it is necessary to any mill constructed in the last century, in a German building is both a brick facade, and high ceilings, and, of course, the big windows. The basic building of a mill was perfectly transformed to the social centre of hotel.

For creation of design of an interior experts — Anja Knauer and Sibylle Oellerich have been involved. In design an interior the subjects found on a flea market and a product from the laminated larch have been used. It has turned out, as always at Germans, it is practical, simply and cheaply.

Each element of registration has been picked up and selected specially for this project. Each trifle, up to bottles with water, has passed the rigid test н compatibility with other subjects of an interior.

In each room of the hotel — unique wall-paper. In the centre of drawing of wall-paper — symbols and images of management and founders of hotel.

In hotel numbers of three sizes — for the persons living individually, and for groups are provided, up to 4х the person. Also, here are available also Lux — of a room for businessmen and foreign tourists.

Materials, ideas and a creative embodiment — here that set of things which creates unsurpassed atmosphere and special spirit in capital of Germany — Berlin.

The constant reconstruction and improvement of architectonic forms of East Berlin as if a magnet draws tourists from every corner of the globe. Now, at last, the new group of hotels aspires to finish this bright way of life and a unique historical patina to the apogee.

Hotel Michelberger, has been opened in September, 2009, together with the well-known bridge Oberbaum on river Spree, and will supplement fascinating impression of a city, in all aspects.

The Parisian architect Pascal Grasso has established the time portable design serving by restaurant on a roof of building Le Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

This unique “a dining room on twelve persons” has an unusual appearance on Eiffel tower. The restaurant consists of a glass cubicle and the punched metal screen closing kitchen.
Between a metal envelopment and a glass kernel there is a colour light-emitting diode illumination is. White material of furniture — well-known Corian, perfectly supplement an unusual interior of this restaurant.

The Peking architectonic bureau MAD has placed the first series of spherical designs, annexes to traditional huts in a city.

In a metal sphere the W.C. and a stairway — just everything is established that was necessary for addition of traditional constructions. Such spheres are offered to be multiplied on all country to improve living conditions of usual citizens.

For the first time the object has been presented at an exhibition to Venice in 2006 year. It was one of three projects of studio. MAD have imagined, what will be Beijing in 2050 year; green park, a series of flying islands, or spherical public lavatories. After three years the first ball has appeared in a small Chinese court yard.

Rapid development of China has caused considerable changes of city landscapes. The architecture is based on chaotic, spontaneous innovations which globally change residential districts. In addition, hygienics requirements because of what chaotic constructions become global urbanistic accident are not observed. Hutongs become especial entertainment for rich tourists.

Authors of the project consider that for situation improvement any global measures are not required; to provide component parts which will be will take root into general chaos enough and to order it. Magic vials operate as a magnet, involving the new people, new activity, resources which change shape of the whole neighbouring communes.

Similar, after the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing, trust growth to China, investments and innovative projects increase in a geometrical progression. One of examples — Superstar — something outstanding and rather comparable to fast rates with which China develops today.
The project belongs to firm MAD, behind which shoulders, some successful constructions for Olympic games in Beijing.

As architects MAD have declared, the design is the answer of present China to cities of all world similar against each other, and also: to shopping centers, gasoline stations, branches of the company a McDonalds... To put an end to all to this to “standard corporate architecture” MAD offers “shock therapy”.

Superstar it's similar to foreign intrusion into a city. Or, on the contrary, Mankind rescue.
From height in some hundreds meters Superstar towers over a city, hardly concerning the earth.

Superstar do not require a surrounding city, Superstar — it's self-sufficient: grows up an own foodstuff, utilises a waste and provides a life with original Chinese character, with resorts, sports constructions and potable water from lake. There is even a small cemetery.

In other words, Superstar is a tiny ecological planet.
Superstar contains 15,000 persons and it is capable to "adapt" in any part of the Universe.
The project purpose — an exchange of new Chinese energy with environment where this energy would not be.
Superstar it's mobile.
Superstar is a Christmas star within all year.
